Examining the characteristics of the beloved in the Qur'an and sermon 193 of Nahj al-Balagha

Abstract

 


 




This article includes a description of the attributes that God has mentioned for the beloved in the Qur'an. The first adjective that we come across is Mohsenin, which is mentioned in five verses, and one of its meanings is moderation. The second of them is Tawab and Muttahar, and these two features are mentioned in verse 222 of Al-Baqarah alongside each other as necessary and mandatory. Pious is the third attribute that God has mentioned for His beloved, as explained that the attribute of pious, which is mentioned in three verses of the noble verses of the Quran, has a wide meaning in the words of Mullah, in sermon 193 of Nahj al-Balagha, and some of these meanings are also in the meaning of the verse. It is reminded that there is no room for description here. The other is Sabrin, one of the meanings of this attribute is perseverance against the enemies of Islam and Muslims. Mutawaklin is also called someone who leaves all the results to God after making a decision and putting effort into affairs. But Moqestin! Surely, a person who considers all the affairs of his life to be directed to God will also observe justice and fairness in all fields. And finally, they are clear that the meaning of this word can be understood better in the discussion of narration.
