Abstract
The foundation of a healthy society is built upon proper education and upbringing. In this regard, upbringing is more significant than instruction, which is based on jurisprudential principles, as it firstly engages with the human soul and psyche, and secondly, children are shaped through emulating their parents’ behavior before they can comprehend ethical concepts. However, families, particularly in industrial societies, face numerous educational challenges, including weakened emotional bonds, declining religious beliefs, materialistic outlooks on life, and issues arising from virtual spaces. This article employs a descriptive-analytical method to explore the most critical educational challenges within families and the strategies to address them based on the conduct of Imam Reza (AS) and, by extension, Imami jurisprudence. The findings indicate that adhering to the conduct of the Infallible Imams (AS), particularly Imam Ali ibn Musa al-Reza (AS), and implementing their recommendations in family interactions—especially in the relationship between parents and children—offers the most effective approach to overcoming educational challenges. Furthermore, upbringing shares common objectives and principles with jurisprudence, which will be discussed in this study
