The role of national and social media in calling to prayer

Abstract

The widespread presence of the media in directing the public opinion of the world is an undeniable fact that has affected the contemporary world in many ways, that the media as means of producing or transmitting messages usually act in a visual, auditory, and written form, and prayer is the main pillar. Religion represents Islam in such a way that all other acts of worship are accepted on the condition of its acceptance, and the most sincere type of worship is the worship of a servant before his Creator. Therefore, the media has a great mission towards the religious beliefs of the people of the society, and its function should be in such a way that it helps to realize the prayer and its preparations, and it creates the background and arouses the spiritual spirit and the feeling of need and belonging to the prayer in the audience
